Training session to be held in Warner Robins for federal, civil service employees

Macon-based Retirement Benefits Institute Inc. is hosting a free training session for federal and civil service employees this week.

The session will be held noon-4 p.m. Thursday at The Courtyard by Marriott, 589 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins, according to a news release.

The benefits training class is open to employees in the Federal Employees Retirement System or the Civil Service Retirement System.

Session topics include annuity eligibility and calculation, survivor options, special retirement supplement and Social Security. Attendees should bring their most recent pay stub.
