Macon-based Patton Albertson & Miller joins New York firm

Macon-based Patton Albertson & Miller investment firm has joined a New York City-based firm.

The Macon firm, led by Jimmy Patton, Marc Albertson and Bill Miller, joined Focus Financial Partners, a leading international partnership of independently operated, fiduciary wealth management firms, as of Oct. 1, according to a news release.

The founders’ positions at Patton Albertson & Miller will remain as they were and there will be no change in the day to day operations of the firm. It will continue to operate autonomously and will retain its identity, including its name, geographical location, leadership and client service model.

Focus has taken a stake in the firm and therefore will provide Patton with access to capital and other business development support.

Founded in 2003, the Patton firm is a fee-only wealth management firm serving high net worth individuals and families. It has offices in Georgia and Tennessee and serves clients throughout the United States.
