Coliseum Northside awarded certification from commission

Coliseum Northside Hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Spinal Fusion Certification. Coliseum Northside Hospital is one of only two hospitals in Georgia, and the only hospital in Middle Georgia, to earn this certification.

The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.

Coliseum Northside Hospital underwent a rigorous on-site review. Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with national disease-specific care standards as well as with spinal fusion-specific requirements. Clinical practice guidelines and performance measures also were assessed.The Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia has appointed Mark Stevens to the position of vice president of development. Stevens most recently was the regional development officer for the Hull property Group. Previously, he spent 38 years in the banking industry.

Established in 1952, the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia is a faith-based organization providing residential programs and services to those facing homelessness, domestic violence, addiction and poverty.Grant Grisham has joined Renasant Bank, formerly HeritageBank of the South, as a vice president and portfolio manager. Grisham was previously with Regions Bank and has 15 years of banking experience.American Pride Bank promoted Christopher Marks to compliance officer and banking officer. He was hired as the personal banker at the Forsyth Road branch in April 2014 and was promoted to bank security officer and assistant banking officer in February.The Macon Arts Alliance announced Lauren Kritsas is its new director of communications. In her new role,

Kritsas will guide the strategy for all communications, public relations and marketing to adhere to Macon Arts Alliance’s mission.

Kritsas was previously an assistant director in the office of university admissions at Mercer University.
