Public may comment on proposed design review process for Macon’s historic, central business districts
The Macon zoning commission is accepting public comment until next week on a proposed amendment regarding the design review process in the historic and central business districts.
The Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission will accept comments by Sept. 30 on a proposed amendment to Chapter 27A of the Comprehensive Land Development Resolution. The comments should be directed to Randi Doveton at rdoveton@mbpz.org or Daniel Weldon at dweldon@maconbibb.us.
The resolution covers such topics as procedures for design review districts, establishment of a design review board, duties and powers of that board, duties of the zoning enforcement officer and the requirements for a certificate of appropriateness.
The proposed amendment document is available for review at http://goo.gl/KBcZF5.
