Even though fall doesn’t officially begin until next week and Christmas is more than 90 days away, at least one retailer is gearing up for the holidays.

Kohl’s department store is looking to hire 69,000 seasonal workers at all its stores and distribution centers nationwide, according to a release.

In Middle Georgia, the company has stores in Macon and Warner Robins and a distribution center in south Bibb County. Each store plans to hire about 50 temporary workers and about 115 people at each distribution center.

Hiring began this month, and most jobs will be filled by mid-November. For information about applying for a job, go to www.KohlsCareers.com.

The Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based retailer has 1,166 stores in 49 states.
