A new store, Rustic Reclaims, has opened in downtown Perry

After working out of her home for more than 15 years, business owner Sherry Rucker has moved into a retail store.

Rucker opened Rustic Reclaims at 621-B Courtney Hodges Blvd. in Perry, according to a news release. The business specializes in primitive and rustic home decor.

“We stock repurposed and redesigned furniture and accessories, as well as finished pieces ready to take home,” Rucker said in the release. “Rustic Reclaims offers a variety of services, including residential and commercial interior design and renovation. We also accept special pieces on consignment for customers wanting to sell.”

The store is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

Part of the reason Rucker said she chose the location is because of the access to Interstate 75 and the tourism that the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter brings to the area.
