Job fair to be held at Goodwill Industries in Macon

A job fair will be held in Macon this week.

The Job Connection of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia will hold a job fair 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Thursday at the Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Parkway in Macon, according to a news release.

The job fair is free and open to job seekers and potential employers with job openings.

More than 30 employers and community resources will be at the event including Aspen Products, Applebee’s, Blue Bird Body Co., Geico, Georgia Department of Corrections, Kumho Tire, Tractor Supply, Trident Seafood and Waffle House.

In 2014, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the Central Savannah River Area -- which serves a 35-county area -- has provided career services to nearly 25,000 people and helped find employment for more than 4,000, the release stated.
