Natural Light unveils the CoolShed for beer drinkers
Natural Light has come up with a new way for beer drinkers to keep their drinks cold this summer.
The beer brand revealed exclusively to USA TODAY the launching of the CoolShed, a shed-sized walk-in beer cooler powered primarily by solar panels on its roof. In other words, the CoolShed harnesses the power of natural light to keep your Natural Lights cold.
Natural Light told USA TODAY one lucky customer will have the chance to win a fully built CoolShed plus a lifetime supply of beer money in the form of one prepaid card with over $15,000 on it, which the brand says can be used to purchase two 24-packs of Natural Light a month for 35 years.
The brand also says the first 500 fans that enter for a chance to win the CoolShed will receive some beer money.
"With many summer activities centered around backyard projects, cookouts, and time with friends, we wanted to create a refreshing solution to a relatable seasonal challenge: how to keep ice-cold beer in reach when temperatures rise," said Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for the Busch and Natural Light family of products at Anheuser-Busch. "Natural Light has always been about celebrating those hardworking moments in the backyard, and the CoolShed brings that spirit to life by rewarding the effort with an ice-cold Natty."
How to enter for a chance to win the CoolShed
According to Natural Light, from now until Friday, July 31, customers can enter for a chance to win the CoolShed by visiting NaturalLight.com/CoolShed.
The company says the CoolShed features an advanced temperature control system, 250 cubic feet of cooling space and heavy-duty shelving capable of holding "dozens of cases of Natty."
