Fountain of Juice moving to the Prado in Macon

Fountain of Juice is on the move and expanding in the process.

Owner Natasha Phillips said the smoothie and sandwich shop is moving from Vineville Avenue to a spot at the Prado shopping center on Forsyth Road.

The new restaurant is 3,400 square feet, about twice the size of the old location.

In addition, the Prado restaurant will have longer hours -- open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. -- and will also have a broader menu.

“We’ll have beer and wine and a few more additional items than we’ve had in the past,” Phillips said.

Phillips said she hopes to have the new location open by the second week of December.

Fountain of Juice also has a location on Montpelier Avenue, adjacent to the Mercer University campus. That location will remain open.
