Downtown Macon boutique is closings its doors soon, offering discounts to customers
A boutique in downtown Macon will be closing its doors next month, but is offering discounts until then.
Frankie’s Boutique, which opened in 2018, announced its closure via social media. Owners posted a farewell message on Facebook earlier this month sharing the news and thanking the community for the years of support.
“This decision does not come easily and I’m not sure it will ever fully sink in that this is where we are,” the post read. “I never fully got the chance to meet each of you but all the moments I was able to work within those 4 walls — I was humbled and blessed and thankful beyond measure.”
Frankie’s Boutique owner Abby Buckley started in direct sales with clothing and loved helping women feel good in their skin. After two kids, she said she hated everything about her body and struggled to get dressed for any event, according to the business website.
The website states that learning how to empower and express herself through clothing gave her the passion to open her own boutique.
If social media interaction is any indicator, it seems the downtown boutique will be dearly missed. In another Facebook post on May 22, Buckley shared a message she received from a customer stating how much impact Frankie’s had on the women in the community.
A sign outside the boutique states the last day the business will be open is June 23 and that the entire store is 30% off.
Frankie’s Boutique is at 552 Cherry St. in downtown Macon.
