Let’s feast! These Middle Georgia restaurants are open Thanksgiving Day

While most are closed for the national holiday, several Middle Georgia restaurants are offering their dine-in guests a traditional Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings.

Other restaurants are also open, serving up their regular menu items from pizza to burgers to waffles.

Here’s a list of restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day in Middle Georgia:

  • Grow at 1019 Riverside Drive in Macon is open from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. Check their Facebook page for their coming-soon posting of their Thanksgiving Day menu.
  • Ma Dukes Southern Cookin at 1530 Rocky Creek Drive in Macon will be serving up traditional Thanksgiving dinner options from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Parish on Cherry St. at 580 Cherry Street in downtown Macon will open for dinner Thanksgiving Day from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the bar open afterwards with drink specials and a DJ for “Parish After Dark” until 2 a.m. The day after Thanksgiving, Parish will have a “Hangover Brunch” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with bottomless mimosas and a DJ.
  • Fatty’s Pizza at 344 Second St. will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, while the Fatty’s Pizza location at 120 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Ole’ Times Country Buffet locations will be open to serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal along with other food choices from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Macon at 1343 Gray Highway and 3661 Eisenhower Parkway and in Centerville at 2922 Watson Blvd.
  • Cracker Barrel is open regular hours but their offering of a traditional home style, turkey-and-dressing meal starts 11 a.m. — including at Middle Georgia locations at 3950 Riverside Drive in Macon, 5000 Eisenhower Parkway in Macon, 2700 Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins and 101 Lect Dr. in Perry.
  • Golden Corral’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet returns to most locations for 2021, including the Macon location at 4704 Presidential Parkway.
  • S&S Cafeterias in Macon are open for dine-in from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 2626 Riverside Drive location and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bloomfield Village Drive location.
  • The Steak House Restaurant at Ga. 341 Bypass in Hawkinsville is offering a “Super Thanksgiving Day Feast” buffet with a special menu from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Ruby Tuesday at 403 Russell Parkway in Warner Robins is open Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Waffle House, IHOP and Denny’s locations in Middle Georgia are also expected to be open but check your local favorite for hours.
  • Most McDonald’s locations also are expected to be open, but hours may vary. Also, Chinese restaurants are often open on Thanksgiving Day, but check before going.
