New Moe’s Southwest Grill opening soon in Houston County

A new Moe’s Southwest Grill is set to open this week in Bonaire, the popular chain known for burritos and other such fare announced in a statement Monday.

The restaurant, owned by Ray Yarbrough, sits near a Kroger supermarket at the intersection of Houston Lake Road and Ga. 96 and is scheduled to open Thursday.

A news release from the Atlanta-based chain went on to note that the restaurant’s decor will feature “updated brand design, which includes patterns, textures and colors” inspired by the American Southwest.

The company’s announcement also said the new restaurant in Bonaire will, at its 11 a.m. grand opening on Thursday, offer the first 50 patrons in line a prize: one free entree per week for a year.
