Mercer grad plans to bring back pizzeria to Macon
A Mercer University graduate will re-open the Mellow Mushroom in Macon.
An announcement was made Friday on Facebook that Bo Chambliss has purchased the Macon restaurant and is aiming to have it open in the spring. The pizzeria, located on Bowman Road in north Macon, closed in 2017 while it was undergoing remodeling.
Chambliss also owns Mellow Mushroom locations in Pooler, Statesboro, Valdosta and St. Simons Island.
