Macon restaurant offers healthy options for lunch
There is a new restaurant in downtown Macon, and it aims to offer healthy lunch options.
The Green Plate Salad & Sandwich Shoppe is in the Technicon building at 440 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Suite 103. It is holding its official grand opening at noon Tuesday, according to a release from Main Street Macon.
The restaurant offers healthy lunch options, including soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps.
The eatery is owned by Andreau Adside, who is co-owner of Ambitious Graphics, a custom T-shirt company also in downtown.
