Open house at Helms College includes tours of culinary labs

When Helms College holds its open house Saturday at the Macon campus, it will include tours of its culinary labs and classrooms.

The open house will be held 10 a.m.-noon at Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia, 5171 Eisenhower Parkway, according to a news release. The private, independent post-secondary career school is sponsored by Goodwill and offers accredited programs.

The open house at Helms College will include tours of the Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality culinary labs and classrooms, along with demonstrations from instructors and current students. Admissions and financial aid staff will be available to talk to prospective students and their families.

Enrollment applications are being accepted for winter quarter classes starting Jan. 17.
