GA has more than 20 flights starting at $35 for spring break travelers
It’s beginning to look a lot like “lets take a trip” out there, and the upcoming warm weather has issued an imperative to us all: go somewhere.
If you’re itching to get outta town, but need to watch your spending, your time is now.
My desire to travel may be wildly disproportionate to my disposable income, but I’m always going to look for ways to do what I love without having to eat ice chips at the end of the month.
I hate to be a bad influence, but trust me: you don’t need a reason to want to get away.
Travel is good for you. Science says so.
Don’t just take my word for it. Consult science. Dr. Jenna Kirtley, Clinical Psychologist insists, “Travel has been shown to boost emotional well-being, help recovery from depression, improve openness and emotional stability, and relieve stress.”
A survey conducted by the World Travel and Tourism Council breaks down the numbers.
Of the people they consulted:
80% aged 25 to 70+ said travel improves their general mood and outlook on life.
75% of respondents reported that travel helps them reduce stress
52% of business travelers state that a change in scenery benefits their mental health and helps them grow
Convinced, yet?
Even though times are tough and budgets are tight, Spring Break and Summer are right here. Whether you want to lay on a beach or see the Liberty Bell, there are plane tickets in your price range.
Quick note and author’s disclaimer: These prices are subject to change and will absolutely depend on the specific dates of travel.
Cheap flights out of Atlanta
The best day to buy plane tickets is often an urban legend that changes based on who is telling, but data provided to NerdWallet, “indicates that — if you have flexibility on when to book — Sundays are generally best.”
Stay flexible, of course, but Expedia’s 2025 Air Travel Hacks Report says, “ Tuesday and Friday flights can help you avoid the rush earlier in the week.”
