Prayer for today (8/21/16)
Heavenly Father, let me not be so preoccupied with my own financial problems that I forget others are in need. You told us in your word that it is more blessed to give than to receive, so may I never forget to give. Even now, when I have no money to share with others, show me that I still have much to give. Let me be generous with my time and energy. Show me ways I can reach out and be of use to others. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
