Prayer for today (8/19/16)
Dear Lord, help us to pursue a life in Christ. Hold our hands when we are strong, our heads when we are weary, and please feel free to jab us with a big ol’ pointy stick when we are just plain obstinate. Thy will be done. I pray that all may know the friendship, peace and the power that comes from union with you through Christ. Please, Lord, come into my life and grant me peace. Amen.
