Prayer for today (6/15/16)
God of peaceful ways, on most days, we are anything but peaceful. Our spirits are often filled with chaos and the turmoil that life can bring. But you, God, are ever present, helping us get up when we fall, offering your hand when we stumble. Guide us, O God, through rocky paths. Protect us through stormy days. And walk beside us in peaceful valleys. Whatever our journey brings, stay near to us in sunshine and in shadow. We give you thanks for your faithfulness, your grace and your abiding presence. Move among us and help us to walk in peaceful ways. Amen.
