Prayer for today (5/30/16)
Holy Jesus, lord of life and love, it has been said that what we might need is a lot more faith and a lot less religion. It is obvious that among differing ideas and beliefs, there is conflict and separation. How sad for us to be divided in this way. You have taught us that if we sow seeds of faith, they can grow in our hearts, courage, strength, wisdom and eyes that see beyond differences. Lead us, Lord, in the ways to love one another as you love us. Without faith, there are no good things to come. O precious Lord, fill my cup with faith every day, I pray. Amen.
