Prayer for today (4/5/16)

Most blessed Jesus, O how my heart breaks for your suffering at Calvary's Cross. No matter how, in these modern versions, this is represented, I would have had to be there to realize the full emotions that were present at your crucifixion. Even so, the tomb where you were placed, was ultimately opened and you were no longer there. My Jesus, it was you, there in the new morning, alive and blessing those who you loved so dearly and so many more who did not witness your resurrection. Heaven came down and glory filled my soul. Amen.
