Prayer for Today, Feb. 6, 2016

Great God of day and night,

Lord of ages that roll, Give me courage to fight With every unconquerable soul. Help me live as a dream, To rise each day toward you, Surpass the things I see, To be what I want to be. May I never lose glow Of the sun of love that ascends, Nor in the storms that blow E'er disappoint my friends. And if thou hast seen in me Some kind of a perfect man, Let know that I may be And dare attempt what I can.
