Prayer for today (10/24/14)

Dear Father God, We don't rejoice in you as much as we ought to. After seeing our circumstances -- sickness and situations -- instead of rejoicing in you for our victory, we count our blessings and not our burdens. May we realize that by rejoicing in our periods of breakdown our ties with you grow stronger. Therefore, let our praises come before your throne of grace so you can open up the floodgates of heaven. Amen
