Prayer for today (10/15/15)

O most mighty God, and merciful Father, thank you for another day. God, I appreciate you allowing me to serve and to be helpful. Father, I know I am a work in progress, but I trust everyone will steer clear of being selfish and thoughtless and understand the importance of being considerate. Now “let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interest of others” (Philippians 2:4). So thank you, Lord, for this day in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
