Prayer for today (9/27/15)

To you, O God, we lift up our souls. In these personal moments of prayer and meditation, relieve the troubles of our hearts. Bring each of us out of our distresses. Our light has come. The glory of the Lord shines upon us. May we celebrate and praise God in this moment May we treasure and honor one another. May we worship you, our God, from the depths of our being. And may we leave our time of prayer having experienced even the smallest transformation within our spirits. Through your Holy Spirit, we pray for grace, O God, to magnify Christ the son, to treasure each other more deeply. Amen.
