Prayer for today (9/11/15)

Father, increase in us, O Lord, a true knowledge of your holy word that we may live our lives in all sincerity and godliness, patience and comfort. Ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life which you have given us in our savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
