Prayer for today (9/10/15)

Heavenly father, your son Jesus describes his relationship throughout the Bible as being like the relationship between a shepherd and his sheep. He told the people, “My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me. I gave them eternal life and they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” (John 10: 27-28). Thank you, father, for welcoming me and the other elected into your family. Amen.
