Prayer for today (8/31/15)

Jesus, our Blessed Redeemer, I come to you this day with my earnest prayer for the widespread doubt growing among modern man who try to discredit you, your divine powers and your origin. You came to us, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, making the lame walk and forgiving even the greatest of sins. In facing this tide of indifference, we need your help to reflect your ever present love, even for the lowest of low. There is no darkness, no suffering and no place unknown to you. You are our light of the world. Shine on us, I pray. Amen.
