Prayer for today (8/29/15)

Love covers a multitude of sin. Lord help us to forgive when transgressed against. Help us to love the unlovable, the gossips, the hard hearted and the haters. Knowing that when we are unfairly and unjustly treated, you Lord see and will use what the devil meant for harm and cause it all to work for our good. Let us remember we are called Christians because we subscribe to the ways of Christ who spoke not an unkind word when he endured the most excruciating of murders for our sake and theirs as well. Teach us, dear Lord, to love as you love, regardless of whether it’s requited. Let us love our fellowman and woman because you first loved us and because you are love and because love covers a multitude of sin.
