Prayer for today (9/13/17)
Lord, we are in a crisis. Thousands of people have been hurt by hurricanes. They remind us of our vulnerability and mortality. We turn to you for help. Give us strength to weather this storm and the after effects. Give us the hope of a better day. Grant comfort to those who have lost their possessions and loved ones. We put our faith in you to meet these needs. In our Lord’s name we pray.
