Prayer for today (9/10/17)
Most precious Jesus, you once said that even you had no place to lay your head and that you knew somehow you would find a safe place to rest. We see the look of loss in the victims of the storms eyes as they search their hearts and minds for a way to survive in the midst of devastation. Help us to pray that they would not lose hope. They need to know, through your help Jesus, we will find the sources of funds to help them rebuild and have a new start. Lord, reinforce their faith, not only in you, but in those who are supporting them after this horrible disaster. Our hearts are broken for them, but in this situation, we will be strong because of you, Lord. Holy Jesus, watch over them, I pray. Amen.
