Prayer for today (7/21/17)

Heavenly Father, there are activities I have put before you and in so doing, decided that they were more important. I know I’m responsible for every activity I have put on my “too busy” schedule. I am not allowing time to develop in me the fruits of the spirit: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. I know that apart from you I can do nothing. Father, help me to start each day with just five minutes with you in prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
