Prayer for today (7/3/17)
Thank you Holy Spirit, that the force of evil which has taken center stage in the nation is only a small part of the real drama. Forgive us for not having faith and for not trusting in you. Forgive us for judging the performance by one short scene. Thank you for the past which gives us a chance to participate in the work you are still doing — and the future, which will reveal the work you have accomplished. When we become discouraged about the evil that is so visible, remind us of the heavenly force working behind the scenes to bring about your plan to carry the American people to the promised land. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
