Prayer for today (6/25/17)
Why does God cause people to sing laugh and cry or just stand by? What is in their heart that makes some people give of their time while others sit idle? Why do they believe in a figure that has never been seen? Why do people believe in a being we cannot comprehend except in our unconscious minds? Most of all, why do some men refuse to believe in God at all? Then, why do I believe in God? I wish to understand why I have set myself in a seat asking for forgiveness from that mythical gentleman or ghost often called a spirit. I have never seen or heard God. I do have the feeling he is next to me. Then again, I have many feelings about many things I cannot explain or understand. Prayer is the link between me and a spirit called God. What I ask for, God has always answered me. His answers are not always to my liking but always better for me. Now that my beloved wife has passed I need God more than ever.
