Central Georgia Technical College

Central Georgia Technical College’s Macon campus is a two-year public commuter college serving students in Bibb, Baldwin, Crawford, Jones, Monroe, Putnam and Twiggs counties. In 2013, Central Georgia Technical College and Middle Georgia Technical College combined to form the new Central Georgia Technical College with primary campuses in Macon and Warner Robins. The college offers on-site and distance learning programs through its Macon campus, branch campuses and other means. It offers adult education, continuing education, and customized business and industry educational services. Among its programs of study are business technology, health technology, information technology, public services, technical, and trade and industrial programs.
Georgia College (branch)

Middle Georgia State College

A four-year, residential, bachelor’s degree-awarding college serving nearly 9,000 students with campuses in Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, Macon and Warner Robins. The college also offers associate degrees and certificates. Among Middle Georgia State’s bachelor’s degree programs are biology, business, education, English, information technology, communications, nursing, psychology, public service and respiratory therapy. Middle Georgia State was created in January 2013 through the consolidation of the former Macon State College and Middle Georgia College.
Mercer University

Wesleyan College

Wesleyan offers women undergraduate degrees in 31 major and 26 minor academic programs. Among them are accounting, studio art, biology, business administration, economics, education, engineering, international business, mathematics, applied mathematical science, neuroscience, nursing, religious studies and women’s studies. Pre-professional programs also are offered as well as master of education and executive master of business administration graduate programs available to men and women.

In 2013, Central Georgia Technical College and Middle Georgia Technical College combined to form the new Central Georgia Technical College with primary campuses in Macon and Warner Robins. CGTC’s Warner Robins campus provides programs leading to certificates, diplomas and associate degrees. The Continuing Education Department offers courses designed to meet specific community-identified needs, while the Economic Development Programs Department provides specialized training and quick start training. Among CGTC’s academic programs are business and technology, health care and human services, industrial technology and public services.
