Summer a good time to explore lawn irrigation systems
▪ Welcome summer! Longer days mean hotter weather. Now is the time to look into irrigation systems for lawns, containers and beds. Ask me how.
▪ Crape myrtles are tough and hardy trees and shrubs. You can see them blooming now all over town. They are very easy to grow, so give it a try.
▪ Clean metal tools with household oil and fine steel wool.
▪ Continue to deadhead perennials and annuals.
▪ You still have time to prune azaleas, so go for it!
▪ Don’t use a bag on the lawn mower unless the grass has gotten really long. Mulching works best.
▪ Now that summer’s here watch for sales in the “big box” stores on everything from grills to plants.
