Ranch has had a major moment this summer, with international travelers who came to the United States for the World Cup singing the sauce's praises on social media. In fact, their love of the creamy condiment was so vocal that the TSA had to chime in to remind them that while travelers can, of course, take souvenirs home, liquid limits still apply to carry-on bags.

Unfortunately for those travelers, unless they plan to stick around past this weekend's final games, they won't be able to try Buffalo Wild Wings' innovative, if slightly unusual, solution. The brand is debuting a first-of-its-kind menu item starting July 20 that has all the flavor of ranch in a "multi-sensory experience that quite literally pops."

Poppin' Ranch "offers a bright burst of savory ranch flavor followed by an audible pop and crackle," said Buffalo Wild Wings in a statement shared with Parade. "B-Dubs has done something that's never been done before with Poppin' Ranch," noted Tristan Meline, Brand President, Buffalo Wild Wings. "It takes that classic popping candy you remember and pairs it with our signature ranch flavor. It's an unexpected sensory experience that sounds wild, tastes delicious, and has to be experienced to be believed."

Each packet costs $0.99 and can be sprinkled on top of wings, mixed into ranch dressing, or added to other foods–the sky is the limit, though we'd probably stick to pairing it with foods that already go well with ranch.

With National Chicken Wing Day on the horizon, Buffalo Wild Wings is also getting into the spirit of the day by giving away free wings, both boneless and bone-in, on July 29 with any purchase of at least $15.
