Cult-Favorite Jeni's Ice Cream Revives Its Beloved 'Ted Lasso' Flavor
Jeni's is bringing back its Ted Lassoice cream flavor for another limited run this year.
The popular craft ice cream brand was founded by James Beard Award-winning ice cream maker Jeni Britton in 2002 and it frequently ranks among the best vanilla and chocolate ice creams, but the brand doesn't just excel at the classics. Jeni's growing lineup of fan-favorites has included spinoffs of premium desserts like its Basque Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Sheet Cake, Chocolate Bunny and Black Tie Tiramisu flavors.
More recently, the company-which boasts its use of premium ingredients like fresh grass-grazed dairy and real cookies-has also tapped into the latest pop culture obsessions with experimental "one-of-its-kind" flavor collaborations, including with Netflix's Bridgerton and Apple TV's Ted Lasso. And today, Jeni's confirmed that the latter of the two will return later this summer.
Jeni's Brings Back Ted Lasso-Inspired Ice Cream Flavor
On Monday, the popular ice cream brand revealed its Biscuits with the Boss ice cream flavor would be making another limited comeback-and just in time for the big Season 4 premiere of the show and its ritualistic biscuit recipe that inspired it in the first place.

The returning flavor features a salted butter sweet cream ice cream that's packed with shortbread cookie pieces for a "rich, creamy, salty-sweet scoop" inspired by the beloved series, according to an official statement shared in an email with Parade. Our editors got the first taste when the flavor initially debuted in 2023 and said it was certainly buttery-noting the shortbread cookie pieces were the standout of each scoop.
Other reviewers gushed over the balance of salty-sweet flavors, with The Kitchn suggesting its even better "between two biscuits" and Elite Daily agreeing it was certainly worth the hype.
Where Will the Returning Biscuits with the Boss Ice Cream Flavor Be Available?
Jeni's said the popular flavor will be available to order in pints beginning at noon EST on July 21. Biscuits with the Boss will also be offered at Jeni's Scoop Shops, while supplies last (local prices may vary).
Season 4 of Ted Lasso starring Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift and more will premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
