Wendy's Has 7 New Menu Items Launching This Spring-From Drinks to Desserts

Wendy's is making some menu changes this season, and by some, we mean more updates than fans can count on one hand.

Now that we're nearly halfway through spring, it's only fitting that the fast-food chain use the season's momentum to push through a few pretty transformative menu decisions-especially since the updates aren't limited to any one part of its menu.

In fact, we wouldn't be exaggerating to call this more than just an update but a massive menu overhaul-affecting all categories, from drinks to desserts. So here's everything Wendy's fans should know before they go ordering their usual Dave's Single or the recently released Chicken Ranch Wrap.

Wendy's Menu Gets Several Major Updates This Spring

On Thursday, just hours after announcing the newCookie Dough Frosty Fusion, Wendy's revealed it actually has six other all-new items heading to menus this season.

According to the April 23 announcement, Wendy's intends to "deliver on fan cravings" with a total of seven new sweet sips and spicy bites. The newcomers include drink options like a new Watermelon Lemonade, Watermelon Sparkling Energy and Watermelon Sprite.

• Watermelon Lemonade: Brings fans the fresh, sweet flavor of summer as an expansion of Dave's Craft Lemonade lineup, with all-natural lemonade and watermelon puree.
• Watermelon Sparkling Energy: A bubbly energy boost with notes of fresh fruit and candied watermelon.
• Sprite Watermelon: A crisp and refreshing combination of classic Sprite mixed with a bright watermelon twist to beat the heat.

As for the food side of things, Wendy's fans must be craving the heat as the company is launching three new items that pack a kick, including a Jalapeño Ranch Cheeseburger, Jalapeño Bacon Breakfast Potatoes and Jalapeño Breakfast Biscuits.

• Jalapeño Ranch Cheeseburger: Pairs Wendy's fresh, never frozen beef*** with creamy jalapeño ranch, jalapeño slices and melted American cheese, balancing heat-forward flavor with cool, tangy ranch notes.
• Jalapeño Bacon Breakfast Potatoes: Add some kick to the morning with jalapeños topping Wendy's seasoned breakfast potatoes, along with three strips of crispy Applewood smoked bacon and Swiss cheese sauce.
• Jalapeño Breakfast Biscuits: Breakfast is anything but boring with jalapeños, sausage or bacon, fresh-cracked grade A egg and American cheese all nestled on a buttery biscuit.

When Will Wendy's New Spring Menu Be Available?

All of the new Wendy's items are expected to be available at locations nationwide beginning this Monday, April 27-except for the new Cookie Dough Frosty Fusion. Rewards members can actually order the new Frosty treat as early as today, but only in the app!
