Pop-Tarts Really Inspired an Iced Tea Flavor-and Fans Can't Believe It
Pop-Tarts is getting its own iced tea flavor.
The beloved brand has been on a roll, revamping its iconic toaster pastries into new ice cream sandwich flavors, releasing Super Stuffed versions, and now entering the iced tea market thanks to an all-new release from Liquid Death.
That's right, the new Liquid Death iced tea that leaked on social media last week is the real deal, and it comes as a big first for the beverage giant, known for its wide range of flavors and bold collaborations.
On Thursday, Liquid Death confirmed that its new Pop-Tarts Carnage Iced Tea is heading out for a limited time this spring, marking the first time the company has partnered with a food brand on an iced tea flavor, according to a statement shared via email with Parade.
Liquid Death Debuts New Low-Sugar Iced Tea That Tastes Like Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts
A spokesperson for Liquid Death called the drink a "low-sugar black iced tea that tastes just like Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts." An inscription on the can suggests a similar profile, describing the iced tea as a strawberry toaster pastry-flavored beverage.

"Who's asking for this ????" one confused Instagram user wrote in response to the leaked image of the beverage.
"There's no f-----g way lmao," a second said with shock, joking that they "expect this to be awful but need to try it" anyway.
"Wow I didn't expect that combination," a third shared, while a different fan said it was "a lot to take in."
"Oh my god how is this not April Fools 😭," one more teased.
Despite what fans may say, the release is legit, and each can contains B vitamins, a slight energy boost from its 43 milligrams of caffeine, and no artificial sweeteners, per an official description.
Where Will Liquid Death's New Pop-Tarts Carnage Iced Tea Be Available?
Liquid Death Pop-Tarts Carnage will be available online via Amazon in 12 packs of 12-ounce cans beginning this month. The company said it will continue to expand into major retailers and grocery stores nationwide throughout the month of May, in six-packs of 12-ounce cans for $8.99 (prices may vary), although some shoppers have already spotted it at select Walmart stores.
Once the rollout is complete, fans can presumably find it at retailers that typically stock the original Liquid Death, its newer energy lineup, or other limited-time offers.
