“We have been very fortunate with beautiful weather this year, and we’re looking forward to a fantastic weekend for people coming out, enjoying our fabulous vendors from food to retail,” said Hanna Theus, CBF director of marketing.
Nearly 20 vendors are lined up for the Food Truck Frenzy, offering all sorts of goodies, including carnival food, egg rolls, barbecue, Turkish ice cream, cheese steaks, Greek and Mexican food and more.
The Food Truck Frenzy is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Third Street in downtown Macon and is paired with the Cherry Market that draws a host of retail vendors to Cherry St.
New this year is a Kids Zone on Second Street featuring Peachy Playtown inflatable attractions and Gellyball, similar to paintball but low impact, according to the CBF schedule of events.
Also, Parish on Cherry will be providing live music near their restaurant this year at an entertainment stage on Cherry Street, Theus said.
The Mulberry Street Arts & Crafts Festival will be in full swing, too.
