NewTown Macon hopes to keep residents in the city for Fourth of July week — and the organization is offering big bargains to do so.

NewTown Macon is launching Macon Staycation Week, running from June 30 to July 6 and offering a chance for people to get into a week’s worth of events for just $10.

“From art classes and live music to hidden gems and curated itineraries, Macon Staycation Week turns downtown into the ultimate summer destination—no plane ticket required,” NewTown Macon said in a news release.

The pass will allow buyers the chance to get into exclusive events, discounted entry to Macon attractions, food and drink deals at various restaurants and more. As part of the offers, Reboot Retrocade and Bar is offering up free tokens, Just Tap’d is offering free beer with a pizza, and Sheridan Studios is offering admission to a paint and sip.

Full details are available on NewTown Macon’s website, and passes also can be purchased on the site.

“Summer is the perfect time to get out and explore all downtown has to offer,” said Kaitlynn Kressin, owner of Fall Line Brewing Co. and Main Street Marketing Committee Member. “Downtown businesses are open and ready to offer fun for the whole family during this weeklong promotion.”
