Macon now has its first Gordon Restaurant Market, as Gordon Food Service opened its new location on Eisenhower Parkway this week.

The market neighbors the Macon Mall and opened May 20.

“The new Gordon Restaurant Market is designed to provide chef-quality food products to restaurant owners, foodservice professionals of all types and household shoppers, with an assortment of fresh and packaged food offerings,” Gordon said in a news release.

Gordon touted its new markets offerings, which include fresh seasonal produce; wholesale walk-in coolers stocked with fresh meats, cheese and produce; gourmet popcorn; fresh pizzas; chicken; sandwiches; and french fries.

The market also has pantry staples such as fryer oil, sugar, rice and more.

The market has a loyalty rewards program and offers convenience perks, such as online ordering for same-day pickup, same-day delivery for businesses and more.

“We are incredibly excited to enter the Georgia market and bring our diverse range of high-quality products to both our loyal restaurant partners and the local shoppers of Macon. This new Gordon Restaurant Market reflects our commitment to serving communities and providing exceptional value and convenience to everyone,” Tim Grabar, president of Gordon Food Service Stores, said in a news release.

Gordon Food Services also said about 45 new jobs will be provided in this new store, and they will be a mix of part-time and full-time positions.

The store is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
