I just tried 7 Brew in Macon for the first time. What I thought of the coffee, service

There’s a new coffee shop in town and I just tried it.

7 Brew opened up its “stand” on April 15 in Macon, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a delicious iced espresso drink.

So, what did I think of the new addition? Is it really worth the hype? Here’s my review:

The line

Since 7 Brew is a drive-thru coffee stand, I was skeptical about the drive-thru line and ordering process. Surely at 9 a.m. on a Monday, the line was going to be busy, I thought.

But I thought wrong. When I pulled into the stand located at 1667 Bass Road in Macon, there were about four cars ahead of me. There was essentially no wait because there were two lines of service.

And if there is a wait, you can order ahead by scanning the QR code pictured on signs leading up to the checkout.

The service

When I did reach the primary window up front, friendly faces greeted me from all over the stand. The employee was super helpful, quick and I really loved chatting with her while my coffee was being made.

7 Brew prioritizes “cultivating kindness” and it felt genuine in this visit.

The coffee

I ordered a large iced Blondie, which is a vanilla and caramel breve with four espresso shots. I added extra caramel drizzle on top.

Overall, I thought the coffee was strong and sweet, just the way I like it. And it was pretty reasonably priced at $6.75. I’ll definitely be back. Maybe even tomorrow. What should I try next time I go?
