Christmas Day is quickly approaching and you may be thinking about what’s for dinner.

If a full day of cooking doesn’t sound like a winning plan, we’ve got you covered.

Here are several dine-in or carry-out restaurants open on Christmas Day in Middle Georgia.

Pro tip: Always be sure to call ahead, just in case of an early closure or staffing issue.

Denny’s

These restaurants may not be open Christmas day, but they offer meats and sides you can heat up for the holiday.

Honey Baked Ham has frozen meats like ham and turkey breast as well as a number of sides, including mashed potatoes; sweet potato souffle; and macaroni and cheese. The store closes at 7 p.m. this week and will remain open until 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Cracker Barrel offers a heat n’ serve Christmas feast that comes chilled and ready to serve in two hours. The restaurant recommends serving the meals within 72 hours of pickup. The meal includes ham, cornbread dressing, roasted gravy, cranberry relish, macaroni and cheese and yeast rolls. Their prime rib meal includes horseradish sauce, mashed potatoes, two country sides and yeast rolls. Don’t forget dessert. Cracker Barrel offers five holiday pie options: apple streusel, cinnamon roll, pecan, pumpkin and chocolate pecan.

Local restaurants close at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
