Review: “This is my very favorite Mexican food restaurant in town. Food is always hot and fresh, service is great, prices are fair, portions are good. Authentic Mexican without the parking hassle of Cherry Street. You are sure to find something on their menu to suit your tastes. They also have creative concoctions on their drink and bar menu too.”

Favorites on the menu: margaritas, tripas tacos, barbacoa and tamales.

La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

Rating: 4/5 stars

Review: “I am from Texas, so I know real Tex Mex. Wow. I was here on business and this place was a legit surprise find. I checked their Yelp reviews with a doubtful eye. Man, the El Tampiqueño plate was really really enjoyable. Tequila choices were very legit for outside of my beloved Texas. I will be back tomorrow.”

Favorites on the menu: tequila, fajitas, shrimp tacos and steak quesadilla.

Favorites on the menu: cocktails, avocado fries, empanadas and the tres leches cake.

Margaritas at Mercer Village

Rating: 4/5 stars

Review: “This place makes delicious food for a really cheap price. They have a huge menu that has just about every Mexican dish you can imagine - quesadillas, fajitas, enchiladas, platters - you name it, and it’s all delicious and reasonably priced. I went with the house special and it was a ton of food for about $11.

Favorites on the menu: margaritas, shrimp and chicken tacos and enchiladas.

Tzango

Favorites on the menu: chicken torta, enchiladas carnitas and taco salad.

Chico and Chang

Rating: 4.5/stars

The spring rolls, burrito, and firecracker tofu were amazing too. I loved everything and had a great experience there. I will be returning in the future.”

Favorites on the menu: sesame fries, tacos, spring rolls and spicy pork burrito.
