Parenting expert speaking at Mercer University
Internationally acclaimed author and parenting expert Wendy Mogel is scheduled to visit Macon to speak Thursday.
The free event, featuring the author of “The Blessing of a Skinned Knee” and “The Blessing of a B Minus,” will be held at Mercer University’s Willingham Auditorium at 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Mercer, Mount de Sales Academy and Stratford Academy.
Mogel, also a clinical psychologist, has been a keynote speaker at the annual meetings of the National Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Principals of Schools for Girls and the National Association of Episcopal Schools, among others. She serves on the scientific advisory board of Challenge Success, a program of the Stanford University School of Education and the boards of the Center for Early Education and the Counsel for Spiritual and Ethical Education.
