BOYS

Gavin Bloodworth, FPD, baseball

Bloodworth struck out 12 and scattered four hits in a complete-game win over Mount de Sales, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Jonathan Harnist, Rutland, baseball

Harnist was big in the Hurricanes' 17-8 romp over Jordan with a 4-for-4 night, three runs and two RBI.

Tony Locey, Houston County, baseball

The senior was sharp on senior night, throwing a no-hitter in a 10-0 non-region win over West Laurens, adding two hits to the Bears' cause.

Leyton Pinckney, Veterans, baseball

Pinckney had a big night Friday against Mary Persons, going 4-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in the Warhawks' victory.

Caleb Sans, Covenant, baseball

Sans had a pair of doubles as part of a 4-for-4 day in the Rams' 8-7 win over CFCA.

Dophie Thomas, Jones County, baseball

Thomas went 3-for-4 with three RBI in the Greyhounds' win Friday over Houston County, including the game-winning hit.

Sachin Khurana, Stratford, tennis

Khurana returned from injury to win his first matches of the year, losing just two games in a pro-set win over Brentwood and a straight-set win over Spalding.

Cristian Medina, Houston County, soccer

Medina scored twice in a 3-2 win Friday over Stratford.

Brannen Suggs, Stratford, golf

Suggs shot a 4-over-par 74 on Monday at the Stratford Invitational.

Edward Whitemore, Twiggs County, track and field

Whitemore won the 400 and 800 at the meet hosted by FPD.

GIRLS

Daloria Boone, John Milledge, track and field

Boone, a state champion last year at Baldwin, won the 100, 200 and long jump in a meet at Mount de Sales.

Faith Boyington, Stratford, track and field

Boyington won the 100 and 200 in Wednesday's meet at FPD.

Lizzi Clayton, Stratford, soccer

Clayton had two goals and two assists in wins over Pacelli and Houston County.

Elizabeth Copelan and Lora Kate Diponzio, Stratford, tennis

The doubles team improved to 14-1 with wins over Brentwood and Spalding.

Kirsten Crook, Fitzgerald, track and field

Crook scored most of Fitzgerald's points in the meet at FPD by taking first in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and long jump.

Eliza Freedman, Stratford, tennis

Freedman rolled to a pair of 8-0 wins in Stratford victories over Spalding and Brentwood.

Bella Gill, Stratford, soccer

Gill scored three goals and had two assists in victories over Pacelli and Houston County.

Monica Montalvo, Stratford, soccer

Montalvo, a defender, scored a goal and helped limit Houston County to a goal and helped shut out Pacelli.

Agnes Pare, Mount de Sales, track and field

Pare took first in the discus and shot put at Mount de Sales' meet Wednesday.

Jessy Tallant, Mount de Sales, track and field

Tallant took first in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters on Wednesday at Mount de Sales.
