Six Flags Over Georgia closes due to coronavirus pandemic
Six Flags Over Georgia is temporarily closed as the coronavirus spreads across the U.S.
The theme park announced Friday it will shut its doors through March. It plans to reevaluate at the end of the month whether to reopen.
“While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at this property, the safety of our guests and team members is always our highest priority.”
Other theme parks across the country also have announced closures.
In Florida, Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando will close beginning on Sunday, McClatchy News reported.
Disneyland and Universal Hollywood also announced closures in California, McClatchy reported.
