You’ll recognize the setting in this movie showing at the Macon Film Festival

Atlanta director Tim Hall might have the home field advantage when his film “Born River Bye” is shown this weekend at the Macon Film Festival.

Hall, a graduate of North Carolina School for the Arts who was born and raised in Macon, shot his second feature-length film here in 2015. The movie is about a disillusioned songwriter and a restless receptionist who confront their regrets over an autumn weekend in Macon.

“Born River Bye” will be shown at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cox Capitol Theatre and 2:05 p.m. Sunday at Theatre Macon.
